Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef-Italian cuisine to join our team and elevate our Italian cuisine offerings. You will be responsible for creating and preparing authentic Italian dishes, maintaining the highest quality standards, and leading our kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

Develop and implement daily and seasonal specials that showcase authentic Italian flavors and techniques.
Prepare a wide variety of Italian dishes including pasta, pizza, antipasti, secondi (main courses), and dolci (desserts).
Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all dishes.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to all health and safety regulations.
Manage and train kitchen staff, delegating tasks and providing constructive feedback.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to source high-quality ingredients.
Contribute to menu planning and recipe development.
Adhere to portion control and minimize food waste.
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.


Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience working in a professional Italian kitchen.
Strong understanding of traditional Italian cooking methods and techniques.
Proven ability to prepare a wide variety of Italian dishes from scratch.
Excellent knife skills and knowledge of proper food handling procedures.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Passion for Italian cuisine and a commitment to providing exceptional food experiences
