Our Client an upcoming player in the downstream oil industry in Kenya, looking to strengthen its operation and aggressively grow the business, is looking to fill the position;

Chief Operations Officer (COO)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the company
• Ensure the supply team procure and deliver products for sale on timely basis and cost effectively
• Create procedures and processes to make work flow easy
• Follow-up and ensure implementation of management meetings decisions
• Receives, check and report finance operations
• Support the budget preparation process in liaison with the finance team and monitor operations to ensure they are managed within approved budgets
• Manage and ensure performance optimization in all departments of the business
• Manage the performance appraisal process across the company

Key Qualifications:

• Graduate from a reputable university
• Masters qualification will be an added advantage
• Possess a minimum of 7 years’ experience in the oil sector
• Mature and have ability to work independently
• Team leadership
• Good communication skills
• Must have good understanding of financial management
• Must have good understanding of supply chain management
