Job Overview
We are looking for a high-performing, entry-level data/claims analysts with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, high-agency mindset. The ideal candidates are intellectually curious, comfortable with ambiguity, and motivated to continuously improve in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, document, and escalate billing exceptions, contributing to both provider support and continuous platform improvement.
- Assist with payer and EHR interactions to help resolve claim issues and support timely, error-free submission and adjudication.
- Support the onboarding of new customers by assisting with account setup across required systems, including EHRs, clearinghouses, and payer portals.
- Work with the necessary Payors and EHRs Anise is integrated with to ensure efficient, error-free billing for Home Health claims.
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Sales teams to help develop documentation, workflows, and training materials that support customers and partners.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative field, such as engineering, actuarial sciences, math/statistics, operations research, etc.
- Proficiency with data manipulation and analysis, including working with spreadsheets (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) to clean, organize, analyze, and validate data.
- Great attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a high-agency, self-driven mindset with the ability to take ownership of tasks and follow them through to completion.
- Great interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with experience working directly with customers / providers / other team members.
Preferred [Not Required]
- Familiarity with healthcare data, claims workflows, or regulated environments (healthcare, fintech, insurance, or payments).
- Ability to automate data analysis, e.g., via Excel VBA, Macros, other.
- Considerable experience with other data analysis and data visualization platforms such as R, Python, SQL, Power BI, or other
- Comfort with analytics techniques such as Regressions, Classification, Clustering, Hypothesis Testing, and segmentation.
