JOB SUMMARY
RequirementsExperienceMinimum 6 years experience in fintech, payments, or financial services commercial rolesProven track record of closing enterprise partnerships and generating revenue growthExperience negotiating complex commercial agreements and partnership structuresExperience working with payment infrastructure such as mobile money, payment gateways, or financial platformsExperience managing business development or sales teamsPreferred ExperienceDemonstrated experience closing partnerships with fintechs, banks, payment aggregators, or large digital platformsExperience selling API based payment products or financial infrastructure solutionsSkills & CompetenciesStrong commercial instincts with the ability to identify and convert high value opportunitiesExcellent negotiation and deal structuring capabilityStrong stakeholder management and ability to engage senior decision makersLeadership capability with experience managing and mentoring commercial teamsStrong communication, presentation, and relationship building skillsAbility to operate effectively in a fast paced fintech environmentKnowledgeUnderstanding of digital payment flows including transaction processing, settlement, and reconciliationFamiliarity with regulatory frameworks affecting payments including KYC, AML, and PCI DSS considerationsExposure to API driven fintech platforms and payment integrations
RESPONSIBILITIES
Enterprise Deal Origination & Revenue GrowthIdentify, pursue, and close high value partnerships with fintechs, financial institutions, digital platforms, and enterprise merchantsLead commercial negotiations and structure partnership agreements including revenue share, referral, and platform integration modelsOwn the full deal lifecycle from opportunity identification through negotiation and contract executionBuild and maintain a strong pipeline of enterprise opportunities aligned with Paykit’s growth strategyDeliver consistent progress against revenue targets and commercial milestonesStrategic Partnerships & Ecosystem ExpansionDevelop strategic partnerships across the payments ecosystem including banks, fintech platforms, aggregators, and digital commerce platformsIdentify distribution partnerships that can accelerate merchant acquisition and transaction volume growthRepresent Paykit in ecosystem engagements, industry forums, and strategic partner discussionsBuild strong relationships with senior decision makers across the fintech and payments landscapeCommercial Leadership & Team ManagementLead and manage Paykit’s commercial team consisting of Business Development Managers and Business Development OfficersSet commercial targets and performance expectations across the teamSupport the team in developing pipeline opportunities and closing dealsProvide guidance on enterprise deal structuring and partner negotiationsImplement structured pipeline management and forecasting processesClient Growth & Account ExpansionDevelop strong relationships with strategic merchants and enterprise partnersIdentify opportunities to expand revenue within existing partnershipsServe as the commercial escalation point for key clients and strategic accountsWork closely with product and operations teams to ensure successful partner onboarding and integrationsMarket Intelligence & Commercial ReportingMonitor developments across the digital payments ecosystem including competitor activity, regulatory changes, and emerging market opportunitiesProvide regular reporting on pipeline progress, revenue performance, and commercial KPIsShare market insights with product and leadership teams to inform Paykit’s partnership and product strategy
