We are a corporate body established by the Act of Parliament No.5 of 1975. The Authority is charged with multi-sectoral responsibility of promoting, regulating, coordinating and facilitating sustainable and balanced long-term ecological and socio-economic development activities in the sector of Energy, Agriculture. Fisheries. Forestry. Tourism. Mining, Industry, Transport and Environment in the Rufiji Basin. To implement its mandate, the Authority calls upon qualified and experienced Tanzanians to fill the under listed vacant positions.
ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICER GRADE 11:1 POST
Qualifications:
Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Environment or any other equivalent qualification.
Must be computer literate.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
•Assist in carrying out environment planning, research and monitoring of land use plans.
•Assist in undertaking environmental impact assessment for land use projects and programs
•Collecting and analyzing data on environment and land use related matters.
•Conduct physical inspection at village level on land use matters related to environmental conservation.
REMUNERATION
Attractive salary will be given according to RUBADA Scheme of Service.
