Site InviSion (siteinvi.com) is a construction platform built for Africa. It brings construction tenders, contracts, jobs and project tools together in one place for contractors, consultants, engineers, quantity surveyors, suppliers and builders.
We are opening Site InviSion country by country, and each country is run by a local curator.
The role
We are appointing one Construction Industry Community Curator for Kenya. You will curate Site InviSion for Kenya's construction community: finding and publishing the tenders, contracts and opportunities that matter locally, keeping them accurate, and growing the platform among the professionals and businesses you already work with.
What you will do
Find and publish construction tenders, contracts and opportunities from across Kenya: national and county government, parastatals, development partners and the private sector
Keep listings accurate and up to date, and remove ones that have closed
Introduce Site InviSion to contractors, consultants, suppliers and professionals in your network
Be the platform's voice in Kenya's construction community and pass on what local users need
Who we're looking for
Involved in Kenya's construction industry: contractor, engineer, quantity surveyor, architect, project manager, supplier or similar
Good knowledge of how construction and public procurement work in Kenya (for example tenders.go.ke, county tenders, NCA categories)
Computer literate: comfortable working online every week (web forms, documents, email, social media)
Dedicated and reliable, with a few hours available each week
A good network in the local industry is a strong advantage
What you earn
This is a commission-based role with no fixed salary. You earn:
10% of every subscription paid by users in Kenya
5% of every curated document sale in Kenya
Your earnings grow month by month on your own dashboard, and you cash out by M-Pesa, bank transfer or PayPal. You work remotely, at your own hours.
