Customer Care /Tele sales Agent

Job Function

Working with Animal Health Manager to generate sales remotely, ensure customer orders and queries are addressed in a timely manner and maintain adequate inventory of products.

Key Performance Areas:

• Generate sales by keeping a good and comprehensive customer record to be managed remotely Receive calls and handle customer orders and queries appropriately.
• Implementation of sales strategies to enable organization to meet its sales objectives.
• Check all correspondences including emails and reply accordingly.
• Take orders and deal with queries for all walk-in customers.
• Processing of quotations for various customers and on time.
• Assist in generating customer invoices as per the orders and LPO’s whenever required.
• Participate in interim and annual stock take.
• Coordinate with IT department to ensure that products received from suppliers are keyed into the system on time.
• Keep good track of client’s documents pertaining to orders pending supplies, inform on goods received, offers etc.
• Always inform clients on what has been received and was out of stock.
• Perform any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time

Qualifications Required:

• Diploma in Animal Health
• Be in good standing with Kenya Veterinary Board.

Experience and Skills Required:

• 1 year of experience in the field (Pharma industry experience is preferred)
• Basic Financial literacy
• An understanding of basic IT skills including internet and MS office
