We are a leading technology organization specializing in innovative cybersecurity solutions. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Identity & Access Management (IAM) Expert to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and managing digital identities associated with various devices and platforms.
We are seeking a Senior Identity & Access Management (IAM) Expert, providing executive-level strategic leadership and hands-on technical expertise across our global identity security ecosystem. This role represents the apex of identity domain authority within the organization, combining Siemens-wide IAM governance, risk ownership, policy leadership, and innovation stewardship with deep, credible technical expertise in emerging identity paradigms.
As the organization's most senior identity expert, you will be liaising with different internal Teams and stakeholders, to define the Siemens IAM vision and roadmap, lead strategic innovation initiatives addressing non-human identities, self-sovereign identity (SSI) frameworks, and One Tech Framework identities in OT environments, and serve as the principal advisor to the leadership, and business units on all identity-related cybersecurity matters. You will orchestrate the identity risk posture for the enterprise, ensuring our identity infrastructure meets the demands of Zero Trust architecture, regulatory compliance (NIS2, GDPR, eIDAS 2.0, DORA), and business transformation in an environment comprising of both human and non-human identities (incl. AI agents, product, etc.).
This position requires a rare combination of: strategic vision to shape multi-year identity programs, governance and risk management discipline to ensure enterprise-wide compliance and resilience, supporting the designing of solutions spanning cloud, hybrid, API, OT, and federated ecosystems, and hands-on technical depth to solve the most complex identity challenges facing modern enterprises.
Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic IAM Leadership: Proven ability to define and execute Siemens-wide IAM strategy, roadmaps, and transformation programs aligned with Zero Trust architecture and business objectives.
  • Executive Advisory & Risk Governance: Experience serving as identity domain authority to C-level stakeholders, translating identity risks into business impact, and driving executive decision-making.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Expertise: Deep knowledge of identity-related compliance frameworks (NIS2, GDPR, eIDAS 2.0, DORA) with hands-on experience in audit preparation, policy development, and regulatory alignment.
  • Cross-Functional Stakeholder Orchestration: Demonstrated success aligning and influencing diverse stakeholders across IT, OT, Product, business units, and external partners in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Innovation Stewardship: Track record of identifying, evaluating, and leading adoption of emerging identity paradigms and technologies in enterprise environments

Technical & Domain Capabilities

  • Enterprise IAM Architecture: Design authority for complex, multi-domain IAM ecosystems spanning cloud, hybrid, on-premises, and federated environments.
  • Modern Authentication & Authorization: Expert-level proficiency in federation protocols and standards (OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, SCIM) and cloud identity platforms (e.g., Entra ID, AWS IAM).
  • Non-Human Identity Security: Specialized expertise in securing workload identities, API credentials, machine identities, service accounts, and AI agent authentication across IT and OT landscapes.
  • Emerging Identity Technologies: Hands-on experience with self-sovereign identity (SSI), decentralized identifiers (DIDs), verifiable credentials, and PKI/certificate lifecycle management.
  • OT & IT/OT Convergence Security: Deep understanding of identity challenges in operational technology environments, including One Tech Framework identities and industrial control system authentication.
  • Identity Lifecycle & Service Management: Expertise in identity governance, provisioning workflows, credential management, and service-oriented identity operations
