Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our Wholesale Hardware team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for delivering products to customers, maintaining delivery schedules, and ensuring that products are delivered in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate and maintain the company delivery vehicle Deliver products to customers in a timely and professional manner Manage delivery schedules and ensure on-time delivery Ensure utmost security for the products in transit Ensure that all delivered products are in good condition and meet customer expectations Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries Collaborate with the sales team to ensure accurate delivery information is communicated to customers Maintain accurate delivery records and reports

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably in the hardware industry Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical ability to lift and move heavy items Attention to detail and accuracy

Education and Experience:

High school certificate or equivalent required Minimum of 2 years of delivery driving experience, preferably in the hardware industry Knowledge of delivery routes and Nairobi area in general Familiarity with GPS devices and electronic mapping tools
