Role Overview
The Direct Sales Agent is responsible for promoting and selling Koolboks products directly to customers in assigned territories. This role focuses on customer acquisition, product education, and driving revenue growth through field sales activities. The ideal candidate is energetic, persuasive, and passionate about delivering value to customers, particularly in last-mile and off-grid communities.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Acquisition
- Actively identify and engage potential customers through door-to-door sales, market activations, and community outreach.
- Promote Koolboks products, clearly explaining features, benefits, and financing/payment options.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Convert leads into paying customers and ensure proper onboarding.
Product Demonstration & Education
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase functionality and benefits.
- Educate customers on product usage, maintenance, and payment plans.
- Address customer questions and concerns effectively to drive confidence and purchase decisions.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage referrals and repeat business.
- Provide after-sales support and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Resolve basic customer issues or escalate where necessary.
Field Operations
- Plan daily routes and activities to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, sales, and customer interactions.
- Ensure proper handling and accountability of company products and materials.
Reporting
- Submit daily and weekly sales reports to the supervisor.
- Track and report on sales performance, challenges, and market feedback.
- Provide insights on customer needs and competitor activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of a secondary school certificate or diploma in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in direct or field sales (experience in consumer durable goods is an advantage).
- Experience working in local communities and understanding customer behavior is preferred.
