Dispatch/Store Assistant

Location: Nairobi
Job Purpose
Talent Grid Africa, on behalf of their client in the fashion retail industry is seeking to hire a Dispatch / Store Assistant. The Dispatch / Store Assistant will play a key role in ensuring efficient inventory movement and accurate order fulfillment at the company stores. The successful candidate will manage stock levels, coordinates dispatch of all sales orders, and maintains accurate inventory records for multiple store locations.

Key Responsibilities
• Monitor inventory replenishment cycles to prevent overstock and understock situations by reviewing Daily sales, Weekly sales and Monthly sales.
• Update and maintain inventory records for multiple store locations in Excel.
• Ensure accurate tracking of stock movement between factory and stores.
• Prepare packing lists for items sold that are available in factory stock.
• Review the “Restock Required” document and update it with items currently being delivered.
• Identify and add items not in factory stock to the “Restock Required” document.
• Process and dispatch all wholesale, government, and events orders, in coordination with the Wholesale Sales Manager, Production Manager and event managers respectively.
• Ensure all items dispatched from the factory are accompanied by the appropriate delivery note, invoice (where applicable) and delivery documentation.
• Retrieve signed delivery note copies from receivers and file them accurately.
• Maintain an organized filing system for all dispatch documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date book stock records in Excel for the company store locations.
Qualifications
✓ Strong organizational and time-management skills.
✓ Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
✓ Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping abilities.
✓ Ability to coordinate with multiple teams (Wholesale Sales, Production, Store Managers).
✓ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
