Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting clients, goods, and/or materials to designated locations in a safe and timely manner. The driver will also be tasked with ensuring the vehicle is well-maintained and in compliance with all traffic regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate company vehicles, including cars, vans, trucks, or buses, depending on the assignment.
2. Transport passengers, goods, or materials to various locations within Kenya, adhering to assigned routes and schedules.
3. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
4. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
5. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, including speed limits, parking regulations, and road signage.
6. Ensure the safety of passengers, goods, and/or materials during transportation.
7. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking as needed, providing courteous and professional service at all times.
8. Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance activities.
9. Coordinate with dispatchers or supervisors to optimize routes and schedules for efficient transportation operations.
10. Represent the company in a positive and professional manner when interacting with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

1. Valid driver's license issued by the Kenyan government.
2. Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a commercial or transportation setting.
3. Excellent driving record with no history of traffic violations or accidents.
4. Strong knowledge of Kenyan roadways, traffic laws, and routes.
5. Ability to safely operate and maneuver various types of vehicles in different weather and road conditions.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
8. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
9. Physical stamina and endurance to sit, stand, and drive for extended periods.
10. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
