ABOUT THE COMPANY
South Eastern Kenya University (SEKU) was established on 1st March 2013. The University’s Main Campus is located near Kwa-Vonza, Kitui County, about 160 km from Nairobi along Machakos-Kitui Road.
JOB SUMMARY
Person speciationFor appointment to this post, a candidate must:Possess KCSE - D Plain or its equivalent from a recognized institution.Have at least four (4) years relevant working experience.Possess a Driving license A, B, C, E and PSV.Have a Certificate of good conduct.Be proficient in English and Kiswahili.Be computer literate.Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya (2010) on Leadership and Integrity upon successful appointment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Driving assigned plant/vehicles.Maintaining safety and security of plant/vehicles to minimize pilferage and extend the life span of the plant.Maintaining work ticket.Implementing scheduled maintenance.Updating insurance and other licenses.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Route planning, Vehicle maintenance and repair, Traffic laws and regulations, Driving license Class B, C, E - light vehicles & heavy commercial vehicles
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Vocational school
