Job summary
We are a growing company engaged in the assembly, sale, installation, and servicing of renewable energy systems. We are seeking a reliable, disciplined, and safety-conscious Driver to support our day-to-day operations, including transportation of employees, equipment, materials, and company property.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport employees, management, clients, equipment, tools, materials, and other company property as authorized.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly and in accordance with traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any defects or mechanical issues.
- Maintain vehicles in clean, safe, and roadworthy condition.
- Keep accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, fuel consumption, trips, and maintenance as required.
- Ensure timely collection and delivery of documents, equipment, materials, and other items.
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials where reasonably required.
- Plan routes efficiently and ensure timely arrival at assigned destinations.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when transporting employees, clients, and company information.
- Report accidents, traffic incidents, vehicle damage, breakdowns, or other irregularities immediately.
- Ensure all required vehicle documents, licenses, insurance, inspection certificates, and other statutory requirements are valid and available.
- Follow company procedures relating to vehicle use, fuel, parking, security, and authorized journeys.
- Support field teams and other departments with transportation requirements as assigned.
- Perform any other reasonable duties related to the position as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or equivalent.
- A valid Kenyan driving licence appropriate for the vehicles operated.
- At least 3 years' proven professional driving experience, preferably in a corporate, logistics, construction, manufacturing, agricultural, or field-operations environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Kenyan roads and traffic regulations.
- Good knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Clean and responsible driving record.
- Ability to use GPS/navigation applications and basic mobile technology.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically fit and able to assist with loading and handling of equipment when required.
- Reliable, punctual, disciplined, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work outside normal working hours and travel to field locations when operationally required.
