DRIVER

Our client, a learning Institution located in Kajiado County is seeking to fill the position of a driver. The role entails the timely transportation of learners to and from school.

Requirements:

• Minimum experience of 3 years

• Driven a PSV preferably in a school/college/institution

• Valid Driving License – ABCE

• Over 30 years of age

• Can drive NQR (33) and FRR(51)

• Motor Vehicle Mechanic skills will be an added advantage

• Friendly, vibrant, dynamic, and a team player

• Good communication skills in both Kiswahili and English

• High standards of ethics and values.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Drives a school vehicle within a prescribed route(s) in accordance with time schedules.

• Picking up and discharging students at designated stops

• Transports students and teachers on field trips to various locations; planning necessary route(s) and stops as needed

• Maintains order and proper discipline of student passengers.

• Conduct safety and operational inspections of assigned vehicles daily

• Reports needed mechanical repairs when necessary

• Services vehicle with fuel and oil checks and when necessary fill tires and batteries.

• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle to ensure safe operating condition

• Washes bus as needed

• Performs related duties as related duties as may be assigned by the Management from time to time.
