Our client in the steel manufacturing industry is seeking a skilled and dependable Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment within the factory.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and factory equipment.
- Conduct routine inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical installations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in machinery and equipment.
- Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
- Carry out electrical wiring, installations, and modifications as required.
- Test electrical components and systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Maintain electrical tools, equipment, and maintenance records.
- Ensure electrical installations comply with relevant safety standards.
- Work closely with the production and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues.
- Identify potential electrical hazards and recommend corrective action.
- Support planned maintenance schedules for factory machinery.
Requirements
- Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- Valid electrical trade certification/licence where applicable.
- 2–5 years of practical experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with industrial machinery and electrical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults independently.
- Good understanding of electrical safety procedures.
- Experience in a steel/metal manufacturing factory is an added advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours when required, particularly during production emergencies.
