ELECTRICIAN

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and factory equipment.
• Conduct routine inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical installations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in machinery and equipment.
• Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Carry out electrical wiring, installations, and modifications as required.
• Test electrical components and systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Maintain electrical tools, equipment, and maintenance records.
• Ensure electrical installations comply with relevant safety standards.
• Work closely with the production and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues.
• Identify potential electrical hazards and recommend corrective action.
• Support planned maintenance schedules for factory machinery.

Requirements

• Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Valid electrical trade certification/licence where applicable.
• 2–5 years of practical experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with industrial machinery and electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults independently.
• Good understanding of electrical safety procedures.
• Experience in a steel/metal manufacturing factory is an added advantage.
• Ability to work flexible hours when required, particularly during production emergencies.
