FACE TO FACE FUNDRAISER

We are seeking a passionate and energetic individual to join our fundraising team as a Face-to-Face Fundraiser. In this role, you will engage directly with the public inspire them to support our cause through regular donations. You will represent our organization with enthusiasm, professionalism, and integrity, creating positive relationships with potential donors and promoting awareness of our mission.

Role requirements

·        Engagement: Approach members of the public in various locations, such, events, or shopping malls, to initiate conversations about our cause and secure regular donations.

·        Educate: Effectively communicate our organization's mission, programs, and impact to potential donors, highlighting the importance of their long-term support in achieving our goals.

·        Fundraising: Raise a minimum of 20 long term recurring donations worth 500-1000 KES a month.

·        Build Rapport: Develop genuine connections with individuals through active listening, empathy, and understanding of their concerns and motivations.

·        Inspire Action: Utilize persuasive communication techniques to encourage individuals to commit to long term regular donations, emphasizing the significance of their contributions in creating positive change.

·        Maintain Compliance: Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines governing fundraising activities, ensuring ethical and transparent interactions with the public.

·        Data Reporting: Accurately record donor information, interactions, and outcomes in our database, providing regular reports to management on fundraising progress and performance.

Qualifications:

·        Minimum education qualification is diploma; a degree will be an added advantage.

·        1-2 years’ experience in fundraising, hard core sales/marketing or customer service.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and create a connection easily.

·        Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities, coupled with a genuine passion for our cause.

·        Self-motivated and resilient, with the ability to work independently and thrive in a high target-driven environment.
