Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Field Salesperson with a proven track record in selling electrical and electronic products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, building relationships with clients, and expanding our customer base within Nairobi. You will play a crucial role in growing our business by promoting and selling our range of electrical and electronic products to retailers, contractors, and end-users.

Job Description/Requirements

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Key Responsibilities:


1. Sales & Business Development:

        ◦ Generate and increase sales of Industrial Electrical and Electronic products.

        ◦ Identify potential clients, develop new business opportunities, and establish strong client relationships.

        ◦ Achieve sales targets and KPIs set by the company.

        ◦ Conduct regular field visits to engage customers, showcase products, and close deals.


2. Product Promotion & Customer Support:

        ◦ Present and demonstrate product features to clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their technical and commercial needs.

        ◦ Provide clients with pre-sales and post-sales support, including technical assistance and product information.

        ◦ Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay updated on market trends in the electrical and electronics sector.


3. Market Research & Analysis:

        ◦ Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity.

        ◦ Collect feedback from customers to help improve products and services.


4. Client Relationship Management:

        ◦ Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction.

        ◦ Act as the main point of contact between the company and clients, handling inquiries, complaints, and negotiations.


5. Reporting & Documentation:

        ◦ Prepare and submit regular sales reports, detailing progress towards sales targets, key achievements, and market insights.

        ◦ Keep accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and follow-ups using CRM systems.


Key Requirements:

Education:

        ◦ Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.


• Experience:

        ◦ 3-4 years of field sales experience in the electrical and electronics industry.

        ◦ Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.


• Technical Knowledge:

        ◦ Familiarity with Industrial Electrical and Electronic products, including but not limited industrial equipment and consumer electronics.

        ◦ Ability to understand and communicate technical specifications to non-technical clients.


• Skills:

        ◦ Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.

        ◦ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

        ◦ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

        ◦ Strong organizational and time management skills.

        ◦ Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.


• Other Requirements:

        ◦ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

        ◦ Being Fearless to knock on closed doors and ensure he/she gets through Sales with difficult People in Companies.
