Job Summary
We are urgently looking for a fiancé Manager (Ugandan Citizen). The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and up-to-date processing of accounting transactions and financial information, timely preparation of financial statements and management reports, and effective implementation of accounting controls and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting
· Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports within set deadlines.
· Review accounts and validate balances during monthly closing; ensure adequacy of provisions and proper documentation for all entries.
· Oversee the company’s operational and revenue-generating inventory.
· Review reconciliation of inventory, supplier, and customer accounts, ensuring all adjustments are properly approved and documented.
2. Management Information & Performance Analysis
Compile and analyze financial data for MIS reports; highlight budget and forecast variances and recommend corrective actions. Evaluate financial performance against prior year results to identify trends and improvement areas.
3. Compliance & Internal Controls
Ensure adherence to IFRS, Group Finance Policies, and Procedures. Analyze financial data to detect deficient controls, duplication, fraud, or non-compliance with regulations and internal policies.
4. Financial Metrics & KPI Monitoring
Track and analyze key financial metrics such as free cash flow, working capital, net debt, leverage, EBITDA, and profitability. Evaluate asset utilization and key cost drivers impacting performance.
5. Budgeting & Forecasting
Collaborate with the Business Head to prepare annual budgets and forecast projections for the segment.
6. Payments & Authorization
Ensure all payments are processed only after thorough verification of supporting documents and approvals. Maintain compliance with the Delegation of Authority (DOA) and company financial policies.
7. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
Monitor accounts receivables and coordinate with Group Treasury for efficient fund utilization and liquidity management.
8. Business Support & Feasibility Analysis
Work with commercial teams to prepare costings and feasibility models for new business opportunities.
9. Audit & Documentation
Maintain proper records for external and internal audits. Provide necessary support to ensure timely completion of audit processes.
10. Tax Compliance
Review and finalize tax returns in coordination with tax auditors and corporate tax teams. Handle tax payments, reporting, and compliance requirements.
11. Other Duties
Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by management as required.
Vacation Replacement
In the absence of the Finance Manager, segment accountants will assume these responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experience
Educational Qualification:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
· Professional qualification (mandatory): CPA, CFA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent.
Experience:
· Minimum of 10 years in accounting, audit, or finance roles.
· Experience using Oracle Hyperion, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
· Prior experience in a multinational organization is preferred.
