Meghraj Capital is a boutique investment banking advisory business with offices in Kenya, Japan and India. The company advises on M&A, strategic advisory and JV transactions and helps clients raise debt and equity funding.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Financial Analyst role located in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Financial Analyst at Meghraj Capital, you will be responsible for:

1) Developing base case financial models (business and project specific)

2) Conducting business valuation

3) Financial/ Investment analysis (listed and non-listed companies)

4) Drafting transaction documentation (pitch deck, teaser and information memorandum)

5) Company analysis and market research

6) Client relationship management

7) Potential lender/investor presentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting/economics
• 2-3 years work experience (preferably audit firm/investment bank/PE fund/financial consultancy company/stock broking company)
• Proficiency in financial modelling, analysis, and data interpretation
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent knowledge of finance, accounting principles, and investment analysis
• Ability to work with financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Relevant certifications such as CFA or CPA are a plus
