🚀 Project Overview
You will join a high-visibility innovation squad tasked with a critical mission: the migration to a Unified CMS stack (Contentstack) and the long-term evolution of a global Help Center application.
This project powers marketing pages across global sites, requiring the creation of a flexible, component-based architecture that enables rapid content updates. You will work within a specialized frontend framework (Swamp.js), adhering to world-class accessibility and performance standards to ensure a seamless experience for millions of users.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
- CMS Migration: Lead the transition to a Unified CMS stack using Contentstack, ensuring data integrity and architectural scalability.
- Architecture Design: Develop and maintain a flexible, component-based frontend architecture that supports rapid content deployment and modularity.
- Application Maintenance: Drive the long-term maintenance and feature enhancement of the Help Center application.
- Standards Adherence: Implement high-performance code while strictly following complex accessibility (a11y) and performance benchmarks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate marketing requirements into technical solutions using specialized internal frameworks.
- Technical Execution: Interpret complex requirements and execute them independently in a fast-paced environment with high visibility.
💡 Must-Have Skills
- Experience: 3+ years of professional software engineering experience in high-scale environments.
- Frontend Core: Expert proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
- CMS Expertise: Hands-on experience with Headless CMS platforms (specifically Contentstack, Contentful, or Strapi).
- Backend & Integration: Solid experience with Node.js, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL/gRPC.
- Testing & Quality: Proficiency in automated testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright) and modern Git/CI/CD workflows.
- Remote Collaboration: Proven experience working in Agile teams and remote-first environments.
- Fluent English: High proficiency for daily technical communication and documentation.
🌟 Nice-to-Have Skills
- Ecosystem Knowledge: Experience with specialized design systems (XDS) and Storybook.
- Infrastructure: Familiarity with Docker, GitLab CI/CD, and service mesh technologies like Envoy.
- Optimization: Experience with Redis caching, i18n (localization), and A/B testing frameworks.
- Styling: Proficiency with Emotion (CSS-in-JS).
🌐 Time Zone & Collaboration
The role requires collaboration with teams aligned to EMEA time zones. Flexibility to overlap a full workday with the European/UK region is expected to ensure seamless integration with the core development team.
