Fulfillment Buyer

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, Mining Engineering, or a related field.
  
• 1–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, raw material sourcing, or supplier management.
  
• Experience working with raw materials, mining, quarry operations, or manufacturing is an added advantage.
  

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies

• Understanding of geological materials, mineral exploration, and raw material quality evaluation.
  
• Good knowledge of procurement and supplier management processes.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including market visits and international travel when required.
  
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and track the delivery of raw materials to ensure uninterrupted production.
  
• Monitor supplier performance and follow up on purchase orders until successful delivery.
  
• Support raw material sourcing, exploration, and quality tracking activities.
  
• Work closely with geological teams and suppliers to monitor mining and quarry operations where applicable.
  
• Conduct field visits to suppliers, quarries, and mining sites to verify material availability and quality.
  
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure procurement schedules align with production requirements.
  
• Resolve delivery delays, quality issues, and supplier-related challenges.
  
• Maintain accurate procurement and delivery records and prepare periodic reports.
  
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.
  
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Purchasing Manager.
