Job Description/Requirements
Business Development & Client Relations
• Lead business development initiatives to tap into new markets and segments.
• Analyze industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly to ensure competitive positioning.
• Forge and nurture relationships with both existing and potential clients.
• Build business relationships and identify growth and diversification opportunities.
Strategic Planning
• Align operational processes with the firm’s broader strategic goals.
• Anticipate market changes and adjust operational strategies accordingly.
• Develop marketing and product strategies and customer sales optimization recommendations.
• Provide pricing analysis and competitive analysis for the group products.
Operational Leadership
• Develop a strong understanding of company operations, teams, and transformative processes.
• Oversee day-to-day company operation and support expansion in East Africa.
• Implement strategies for streamlined workflow, ensuring optimal team performance and timely project completion.
• Develop and update company processes and enable effective team structures.
Team Management, Development & HR Decisions
• Lead, mentor, and support the team, ensuring they have the required resources and training.
• Foster an environment of continuous learning and professional growth within the team.
• Manage team workload effectively and maximize productivity.
• Develop KPIs for each department and keep track of department tasks.
• Ensure all activities and operations comply with the Labor laws and Employment Act.
Client Service Excellence
• Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring their requirements are clearly understood and met.
• Develop and maintain feedback loops with clients to enhance service quality continuously.
Financial Management
• Develop and oversee annual budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Monitor financial performance metrics, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Vigilantly identify potential business risks and orchestrate effective mitigation strategies.
Human Resources & Talent Development
• Champion talent acquisition strategies that attract industry-leading professionals.
• Design and oversee training programs to ensure the team remains at the forefront of industry knowledge.
• Facilitate regular performance reviews, fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
Qualification
1. Bachelor of Business Information Technology or related field - Upper second, MBA is an added advantage.
2. KCSE Mean Grade B.
3. A minimum of 5 years of work experience in business operations and consulting.
4. A minimum of 2-3 years of management consulting experience; experience in IT and Digital Transformation are a plus.
5. Experience establishing high-impact, revenue-generating commercial relationships.
6. Demonstrate success in building and launching a new business or product offering from scratch or entrepreneurial experience commensurate with this.
