Geophysical Mapping Experts

Applicants must have a Masters or PhD degree in any of the following disciples: Geophysics (Gravity, Magnetics & 3D Inversion Modeling), Exploration Geology (Minerals & Alteration Mapping), Remote Sensing & Hyperspectral Analysis, Hydrogeology (Groundwater Specialist), or Petroleum Geoscience (Oil & Gas Remote Sensing & Basin Analysis) from a recognized institution plus a minimum of 3 years relevant experience plus membership of  a professional body.

Additional professional qualifications and demonstration of previously completed projects and experiences in geophysical mapping will be seriously considered as an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

·       Performing any geophysical mapping assignments as shall be assigned by the management.

·       Leading a team of geophysical mapping project in the field, laboratory, and reporting.

·       Preparation of technical and financial proposals for geophysical mapping projects.

·       Technical staff leadership assignments as shall be assigned by the management.

·       Collaboration with other departments in prudent project management and administration.

·       Application of sound engineering practices for all professional activities in accordance with all applicable codes and standards.

·       Maintaining excellent working relations and meeting commitments made with project team members, clients, and suppliers to support overall project quality, schedule, and cost.

.       Data Management, spatial analysis, data integration, and QA/QC of spatial data.
