Geospatial Engineers

The applicant should demonstrate his/her expertise and practical experience in modern methods of cadastral & engineering surveys and geospatial mapping, based on and maintaining standard professional practice.

Additional qualification in Spatial Planning and a list and demonstration of previous completed projects and experiences will be seriously considered as an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

·       Carrying out digital cadastral & engineering survey works.

·       Geodetic control assignments.

·       Aerial photogrammetric and LiDAR mapping (Aeroplanes and Drones).

·       Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) development and management.

·       Setting out for infrastructure development projects.

·       Development of Spatial Development Plans (Physical Planning).

·       Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) implementation.

·       Application of sound engineering practices for all survey-related activities in accordance with all applicable codes and standards.

·       Maintaining excellent working relations and meeting commitments made with project team members, clients, and suppliers to support overall project quality, schedule, and cost.

·       Data Management, spatial analysis, data integration, and QA/QC of spatial data for spatial planning, engineering design, cadastre, and GIS projects.

·        Conduct on-the-job training for intern staff from time to time

·        Preparing project reports.

·       Maintenance of project equipment in good condition and reporting any breakages.
