- Drive digital, data-led operations using telematics, dashboards and predictive maintenance to improve uptime and reduce total cost of ownership.
- Own cost control and fuel performance, supplier SLAs, and commercial optimisation across maintenance and logistics spend.
- Embed world-class safety, risk and governance standards, ensuring audit-ready operations and full regulatory compliance (including NTSA, insurance and inspections).
- Lead sustainability and ESG initiatives, including emissions reduction, route optimisation and transition toward lower-emission technologies.
- Build and lead a multi-disciplinary team, strengthening leadership depth and delivering measurable improvements in service, safety and cost.
- Partner closely with Production, Finance and Maintenance to align fleet capability with business growth and continuity.

- Fleet availability stabilised above 90%.
- 10%+ reduction in fuel cost per km.
- 90%+ on-time, in-full delivery performance.
- Preventive and predictive maintenance fully embedded.
- Real-time, data-driven performance dashboards in use.
- A high-performing, compliant, safety-driven fleet organisation in place.
The Leader We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5–10+ years in fleet/logistics leadership within asset-heavy or multi-site environments; 3–5+ years managing teams and budgets.
- Track record running telematics, fuel management and maintenance systems at scale.
- Experience in food, agriculture, manufacturing or heavy distribution strongly preferred.
- Proven capability in digital transformation, cost optimisation, and change leadership.
- Strong working knowledge of Kenyan regulatory requirements (NTSA, insurance, audits, inspections).
- Commercial, data-driven, and systems-oriented; respected people leader with high standards for safety and performance.
