JOB SUMMARY

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE ●   National or international coaching certification in field hockey (e.g., FIH Level 3 or equivalent). ●   Proven experience leading a successful youth or school-based hockey program. ●   Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills. ●   Passion for developing young athletes and promoting inclusivity through sport.

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Strategic Leadership: Overseeing the day-to-day delivery of the sport, including planning, coaching, and competition management.● Team Management: Leading and inspiring a team of coaches and interns to foster a supportive, safe, and high-performance environment.● Pathway Development: Building robust links with external clubs, and The National Governing Body.● Future Transition: Establishing connections, for example with universities, to sustain Hillcrest’s performance pathways and support athletes in their sporting careers beyond school.
