Job Title: Head of Security
Our client is one of Kenya's leading real estate investment companies, developing and managing thousands of affordable homes for investors.
Main responsibility:
Lead Security. Protect Investments. Build Trust.
We are looking for an exceptional Head of Security to lead security operations across our construction sites, completed developments (MANCOs), offices and Manufacturing plant.
This is a strategic leadership role for someone passionate about creating safe environments, protecting people and assets, and building world-class security systems.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
• Develop and implement our client enterprise security strategy.
• Lead security operations across multiple construction projects.
• Oversee security across completed residential developments.
• Manage outsourced security providers.
• Lead investigations into security incidents.
• Implement technology-driven security systems.
• Conduct security risk assessments.
• Strengthen emergency preparedness and crisis response.
• Protect company assets, investors, residents and employees.
• Build a high-performing security team.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with:
• Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Security Management, Risk Management or a related field.
• 5-8 years of progressive security leadership experience.
• Experience managing security across construction projects or large real estate portfolios.
• Strong investigative and risk management skills.
• Experience working with CCTV, access control and integrated security systems.
• Demonstrated leadership, integrity and sound judgment.
