JOB SUMMARY
The Patient Access Specialist is responsible for contacting and assisting patients who show interest in our services. This role focuses on answering inquiries, making follow-up calls, and scheduling appointments.Main Responsibilities (Simplified)Handle inbound and outbound calls, texts, emails, and chat messages from patients.Follow up with warm and cold leads to encourage them to schedule an appointment.Convert patient inquiries into booked appointments.Work daily in the LeadLoop CRM to update and track patient information.Schedule new patient appointments accurately.Complete basic insurance verification (commercial, Medicare, workers' comp preferred).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Experience in healthcare scheduling, medical sales, or patient intake.Ability to work with CRM tools (LeadLoop is a plus).Strong phone communication for inbound and outbound calls.Insurance verification experience.Strong closing abilities and confidence on the phone.Fast response times and a sense of urgency.Excellent communication and active listening.Organized, detail-oriented, and patient-focused.
