A retail brand is hiring a suitably qualified and experienced HR Officer full time in-office. You will be an integral part of a busy team and contribute to the success of the business through your professional contribution and HR skills and experience.

Job Description/Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in designing and maintaining effective organizational structures.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to update job descriptions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Support the implementation and improvement of HR policies and processes.
• Manage the entire recruitment process from sign-off to onboarding.
• Develop job descriptions and ensure vacancies align with budget and position requirements.
• Ensure compliance with data management.
• Manage financial costs related to checks and align recruitment activities with employment equity plans.
• Address employee grievances and provide necessary support.
• Support managers in handling disciplinary and misconduct issues.
• Oversee probation management and champion KPI conversations.
• Collaborate with the Training Manager to ensure staff development and competency.
• Manage onboarding and probation periods effectively.
• Promote employee wellness initiatives.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement wellness programs.
• Administer Payroll as required.
• Overseas salary benchmarking and sectoral compliance.
• Assist with adherence to compliance requirements as determined by legislation.
• Assist with HR reporting as required Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Human Resources.
•Degree or Diploma in Human Resources OR experience in Human Resources with a graduate qualification in business/law/human sciences/Social Sciences or any other business related field from a recognized institution.
• Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) qualifications.
• Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
• Sound knowledge of Employee Relations.
• Strong Excel skills.
