Job Purpose: Our client is a Kenyan ICT firm that develops ICT solutions that automate business processes they are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
The role supports business operations by managing servers, networks, virtualization platforms, and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, and cloud environments.
  
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of infrastructure services.
  
• Manage server administration, virtualization platforms, and storage systems.
  
• Implement system updates, patches, and security configurations.
  
• Manage backup solutions and disaster recovery procedures.
  
• Support application deployment by maintaining stable and scalable infrastructure environments.
  
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and resolve system failures promptly.
  
• Maintain system documentation, network diagrams, and infrastructure records.
  
• Implement monitoring and automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
  

Qualifications & Experience

• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field,
  
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, system administration, or network engineering.
