INTERIOR FIT-OUT SITE MANAGER

About the Role

Zennation Kenya is looking for a competent, organized, and hands-on Interior Fit-Out Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day execution of our interior design and finishing projects.

The ideal candidate should have experience managing interior fit-out works, coordinating multiple trades, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring projects are completed to high-quality standards, within agreed timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise interior fit-out and finishing works across multiple project sites.

- Interpret architectural drawings, interior design plans, technical drawings, and specifications.

- Coordinate tradespeople, including carpenters, gypsum installers, tilers, painters, electricians, plumbers, and other specialists.

- Plan daily and weekly site activities, ensuring different trades work efficiently without unnecessary delays.

- Monitor workmanship, measurements, material usage, and finishing quality.

- Prepare material requisitions, monitor deliveries, and minimize wastage.

- Track project progress against agreed schedules and report delays or challenges promptly.

- Maintain daily site reports, including progress photos, labour attendance, material usage, and pending works.

- Ensure site safety, cleanliness, and professional conduct.

- Identify and resolve routine site challenges while escalating major technical or financial decisions to management.

- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and the Zennation design team to ensure accurate execution of designs.

- Support project inspections, snagging, corrections, and final handovers.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Formal training in Interior Design, Building Construction, Construction Management, Building Technology, or a related technical field.

- Previous practical experience supervising interior fit-out, renovation, or finishing projects.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and translate designs into actual site execution.

- Good understanding of interior finishes, materials, installation methods, and workmanship standards.

- Proven ability to coordinate several trades working simultaneously.

- Strong planning, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Valid driving licence and practical driving experience are highly preferred.

- Preferably based in Eldoret or its immediate surroundings.

- Must be willing and available to travel and supervise projects outside Eldoret when required.
