Job Overview
We are looking for a driven and people-oriented Investment Executive to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone at the start of their investment career who is excited about engaging senior decision-makers, building long-term client relationships, and delivering tailored investment solutions.
You will work closely with high-profile corporates and high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), helping them understand their financial goals, assess risk, and build well-structured investment portfolios across a wide range of products.
What You’ll Do
Business Development & Prospecting
- Engage senior decision-makers through proactive outreach and relationship-driven prospecting
- Leverage personal, professional, and social networks to identify and develop new opportunities
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients
- Research market trends and industry developments to support informed investment conversations
- Consistently work towards and exceed agreed sales targets
Client Meetings, Presentations & Sales
- Conduct professional investment presentations for corporate and HNWI clients
- Hold regular in-office and off-site meetings with prospects and existing clients
- Share up-to-date product information and marketing materials
- Assist clients with account opening documentation and onboarding
- Facilitate fund transfers and all documentation related to investment placements
Client Relationship Management & Portfolio Support
- Provide ongoing monthly servicing to existing clients
- Maintain strong knowledge of local and international investment products, including:
- Fixed Income
- Securities
- Offshore Investments
- Unit Trusts
- Pension Products
- Monitor client portfolios and recommend adjustments during quarterly reviews
- Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and industry requirements
Who We’re Looking For
Successful Investment Executives typically demonstrate:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Economics
- A confident, outgoing, and professional approach to client engagement
- High levels of self-motivation and resilience
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- A genuine interest in building a long-term career in investments or financial services
- Ability to analyse financial data and translate insights into clear client advice
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to explain complex concepts simply
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Position Type
Entry Level
Compensation & Benefits
- KES 60,000 gross basic salary
- Insurance & Pension
- Uncapped commission ranging from 10% to 30% of company earnings on your sales
Typical earning potential:
- 3–12 months experience: KES 160,000+ gross
- 12–24 months experience: KES 260,000+ gross
- 2+ years experience: KES 400,000+ gross, based on performance
Start Date: Ongoing
