IT Suport Specialist

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to employees, troubleshoot IT issues, and ensure the smooth operation of computer systems, software, networks, and other technology equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to employees and users.
  
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, applications, and IT equipment.
  
• Set up user accounts, devices, printers, and other peripherals.
  
• Monitor and troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues.
  
• Respond to IT support requests through email, phone, or helpdesk systems.
  
• Maintain accurate records of IT issues, solutions, and equipment.
  
• Assist with system updates, backups, security checks, and software installations.
  
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT teams or external vendors.
  
• Provide guidance to users on basic IT systems and cybersecurity best practices.
  
• Support onboarding and offboarding by setting up or disabling user access.
  
• Help maintain IT documentation, policies, and procedures.
  

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networking.
  
• Familiarity with Windows and common productivity applications.
  
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
  
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests.
  
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
