I.T SUPPORT JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES

System Support and Maintenance

1.  Observe transmission states of all vehicles under the Company’s system. Report any irregularities.

2. Monitoring of system functionality and operations, to make sure that the Company’s system is always running to its full capacity.

3. Knowledge in PCBs required.


Communication

1.  As an IT support Officer you should be able to communicate with clients effectively:

2.  Follow up on any vehicle transmission related issue observed on the system following the proper channels.

3. Guide clients and any other end user on how to navigate the monitoring platform and also ensure every client has access.

4. Send reminders to clients on certificate expiries.


Reporting

1.   Prepare weekly and monthly reports. This requires good knowledge on Microsoft Office Packages.

2.   Generate System reports that will guide in monitoring transmission states of the vehicles and general performance of the system.

3.   General IT Support

4..  Provide support in the office handle issues to do with computers and its accessories as well as internet related issues.

5..  Assist in the acquisition of office Items from vendors, more so technical accessories.

6.  Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the head of IT or requested by staff.


Additional

1.Willing and able to learn new concepts fast.

2.Knowledge of databases and being able create added advantage


 

Requirements

-     diploma and hands on experience in softwares 

-     At least 2 years experience
