JOB SUMMARY
The HORECA Key Accounts Executive role is responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and ensuring excellent execution within the Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés, Caterers, and Institutional segment. The role focuses on growing revenue and volume within assigned accounts while ensuring high service levels, timely collections, and positioning Unga as the preferred supplier within the HORECA channel.Educational Background & ExperienceDegree or Diploma in a business-related field2+ years of FMCG sales experience preferably within HORECA or Key AccountsGood understanding of HORECA customer operationsExperience managing food service or institutional accounts is an added advantageValid Driver’s LicenseKey Attributes / CompetenciesGood understanding of trade mathematicsNegotiation and persuasion skillsCustomer relationship management capabilityStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProblem solving abilityGood planning and organizational skillsResults-oriented and self-drivenEffective reporting and analytical skillsCollaboration and consultation skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Business DevelopmentDrive sales volume and revenue growth within assigned HORECA accountsIdentify and onboard new HORECA customers within assigned territoryEnsure achievement of monthly and annual sales targetsDrive product penetration and SKU listings within customer outletsCustomer ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with chefs, procurement teams, outlet managers, and business ownersConduct regular customer visits and business reviewsEnsure timely resolution of customer issues and complaintsEnsure proper order planning and servicing for all assigned accountsFinancial ManagementEnsure effective management of customer receivables within approved credit termsFollow up on overdue balances and support account reconciliationsMinimize returns, expiries, and claims within assigned accountsBusiness ProcessesMonitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends and share feedback with the line managerWork closely with Supply Chain, Finance, QA, and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth operationsEnsure adherence to all company commercial policies and proceduresSupport execution of promotions, activations, and customer engagement initiativesMonitor stock availability and ensure high service levels within assigned accounts
