ABOUT THE COMPANY
Safaricom Investment Co-operative (S.I.C.) was set up in 2009 under the Co-operatives Act Cap 490 to pursue joint investments for its members and has been in real estate space since its inception. As an investment cooperative, SIC pursue various investment opportunities for the benefit of its members and drawing its membership from the current and former staff of Safaricom Ltd and the public at large.
JOB SUMMARY
QualificationsBachelor degree/Diploma in Land Economics, Real Estate Management, Urban and Regional Planning, Surveying, Business Administration, or a related field.Good understanding of land laws, property markets, and development processes.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and confidence in engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.Strong leadership, coordination, and decision-making skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team.A proactive and dependable team player with high levels of integrity and professionalism.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate and oversee land acquisition, subdivision, titling, and registration processes.Monitor project progress and ensure timelines and budgets are adhered to.Prepare and maintain land inventory and database for all company properties.Prepare management reports, briefs, and updates on land activities.Conduct or review feasibility studies, due diligence, and land valuation reports.Provide technical input to support land development planning and investment decisions.Support preparation of business cases and investment proposals for land projects.
