JOB SUMMARY
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Law, Diploma in Law, or equivalent from a recognized and accredited institutionAt least two years of relevant experience Experience preferably in a busy manufacturing environmentAdvise management on legal and compliance Key Skills mattersExperience in reviewing and preparing legal documents, contracts and agreementsExceptional problem solving skills with practical solution oriented approachProficiency in legal research and analysis of legal issuesProficiency in using MS Office applications and other relevant software
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain company records and critical documentsEnsure regulatory compliance and permit renewalsUpdate and review internal policiesManage contracts (review, negotiate, renew, file)Protect intellectual property and handle trademark issuesSupport dispute resolution and legal proceedingsLiaise with external lawyers and provide legal documentationMonitor changes in laws and regulations
REQUIRED SKILLS
Contract drafting and preparation, Legal counseling, Commercial law, Legal analysis, Policy drafting and development
