Position: Librarian
Location: Mukuru-ini, Nyeri


As part of a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative for a school based in Mukuru-ini, Nyeri, our client is looking for a librarian who will be responsible for setting up and organizing a school library, maintaining accurate records of all books, guiding students on reading practices, and fostering a strong reading culture among learners.


 


Key Responsibilities



  • Organize and manage the school library.
  • Maintain records for all the library resources.
  • Monitor the borrowing and returns of library materials.
  • Mentor and guide students in the selection of reading materials.
  • Ensure a clean and organized library environment at all times
  • Submission of monthly reports on library activities.


 


Qualifications



  • A minimum of a Diploma in Library Science or Information Science or a related course.
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Passionate about working with students

This is a full time role.
