Job Title: Loaders

Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor 

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Loading and Offloading

• Load and offload goods from trucks, containers, and storage areas.
• Ensure correct handling of items to prevent damage during movement.
• Verify quantities and types of goods during loading and unloading.

B. Material Handling

• Move goods to designated storage areas using appropriate equipment or manual handling.
• Stack and arrange items properly to maximize space and ensure safety.
• Follow proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.

C. Inventory Support

• Assist in checking incoming and outgoing goods against delivery notes.
• Report any damaged, missing, or incorrect items.
• Support stock-taking and inventory control activities when required.

D. Safety and Compliance

• Adhere to workplace safety standards and procedures at all times.
• Use protective gear and equipment as required.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free working environment.

E. Operational Support

• Assist drivers and warehouse staff in dispatch and receiving processes.
• Ensure timely loading to meet delivery schedules.
• Support general warehouse duties as assigned.

F. Teamwork and Collaboration

• Work closely with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors.
• Communicate effectively regarding task progress and issues.
• Contribute to a productive and efficient work environment

• Accuracy in loading and offloading
• Minimal product damage
• Timeliness in dispatch operations
• Compliance with safety standards

3. Qualifications

• KCSE Certificate or equivalent
• Previous experience in warehouse operations or loading is an added advantage
• Physically fit and able to handle manual labor

4. Skills and Competencies

• Basic numeracy skills for counting goods
• Knowledge of safe lifting techniques
• Experience in warehouse or logistics operations
