Hazina SACCO Society Limited is a nationwide Savings and Credit Co-operative Society established in 1971 and registered under Co-operatives Societies Act(Cap 490) of the laws of Kenya with the main objective of affording its members an opportunity to accumulate their savings, thereby creating a source of loanable funds.

JOB SUMMARY

Minimum RequirementsA Business-related Degree from a recognized University.Minimum of CPA Part 2At least two (2) years’ experience in a similar positionQualification in credit management (CCP) and knowledge of Navision / proficiency in Ms Office with emphasis on Excel are an added advantage

RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor repayment schedules and follow up with members to ensure adherence to agreedupon termsContact delinquent members via phone, email or in person to discuss overdue loans.Negotiate repayment plans and arrangements tailored to members’ financial situationsMaintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions with delinquent membersPrepare and submit regular reports on recovery progress, including updates on outstanding debts, collections made and recovery ratesProvide prompt and courteous assistance to membersAddress member inquiries related to loans recoveryCo-ordinate with external debt collection agencies to escalate recovery effortsEnsure compliance with internal policies, procedures and regulatory requirements throughout the debt recovery processIdentify and report potential risks or issues that may impact loan recovery operationsJob CompetenciesExcellent communication and negotiation skillsBasic understanding of credit recovery principles and practicesDetail-oriented with a focus on accuracyGood interpersonal skillsAbility to work with strict targets and deadlines
