DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Machine Operation

·       Operate assigned factory machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

·       Set up machines before production runs and adjust settings as required.

·       Monitor machine performance and output to ensure quality standards are met.

·       Record production data and maintain accurate logs.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

·       Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on machines.

·       Identify and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime.

·       Report major faults or breakdowns to the maintenance team promptly.

·       Assist in preventive maintenance schedules.

Quality & Safety Compliance

·       Ensure products meet quality specifications during production.

·       Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective equipment.

·       Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.

·       Adhere to company policies and regulatory standards.

Documentation & Reporting

·       Interpret machine manuals and follow operational guidelines.

·       Document machine performance, maintenance activities, and production reports.

·       Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production issues.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

·       Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

·       Candidates with technical training from NYS (National Youth Service) or NITA (National Industrial Training Authority) are encouraged to apply

·       2–3 years’ experience operating factory machinery in a manufacturing environment.

·       Strong technical knowledge of factory machinery operation.

·       Basic understanding of mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.

·       Ability to interpret machine manuals and technical instructions.
