Marketing Assistant Intern

Our client who is in the agribusiness industry is seeking to hire a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant Intern to support field marketing activities, market engagement, data collection, and reporting functions.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about agriculture, field marketing, brand visibility, and technology-driven reporting, with the ability to support field campaigns, farmer and agrovet engagement activities, and basic digital/IT support functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support planning and execution of field marketing campaigns, activations, demonstrations, and roadshows
- Assist in coordinating farmer trainings, agrovet engagements, exhibitions, and promotional events
- Coordinate distribution, tracking, and setup of branding and marketing materials during field activities
- Conduct market visits to collect customer feedback, competitor insights, pricing trends, and market intelligence
- Build and maintain relationships with distributors, agrovets, retailers, and other field partners
- Maintain accurate records of activation schedules, attendance, marketing inventory, and field activities
- Collect, compile, and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly field activity and campaign performance reports
- Support management and updating of CRM systems, databases, and digital reporting tools
- Maintain organized digital filing systems, shared drives, backups, and marketing documentation
- Provide basic IT and technical support, including assisting with software and hardware troubleshooting when required
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Agribusiness, Business Administration, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and field activation activities
- Interest in agriculture, rural marketing, and agribusiness engagement
- Basic IT proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, internet usage, and digital reporting tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities
- Willingness to travel and participate in field activities across different regions
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
