Salary: KES 100,000 – KES 120,000
Job Purpose
Talent Grid Africa, on behalf of their international client in the Retail industry is seeking is seeking a
Marketing Executive will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic
marketing plans that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth. The role requires
a data-driven, creative, and strategic thinker who can lead marketing campaigns across multiple
channels, enhance brand positioning, and maximize ROI on marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy aligned with the company’s business
goals.
• Identify and capitalize on market trends, customer insights, and competitive analysis to enhance
brand positioning.
• Plan and manage omnichannel campaigns, including digital, social media, in-store, OOH, and
influencer marketing.
• Ensure all marketing efforts maintain brand consistency and alignment with company values.
• Strengthen brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging and visual representation across all touchpoints.
• Lead creative direction for campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and consumer expectations.
• Oversee in-store branding, visual merchandising, and customer experience enhancements.
• Manage public relations efforts, media partnerships, and corporate communications.
• Oversee content creation, social media engagement, and paid digital advertising strategies.
• Monitor SEO, SEM, and performance marketing initiatives to increase website traffic and online
conversions.
• Monitor digital analytics and optimize campaigns based on data insights.
• Leverage influencer and affiliate marketing to boost brand reach and credibility.
• Develop and execute promotional campaigns that drive foot traffic and online sales.
• Plan seasonal and thematic sales events in alignment with the retail calendar.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop customer acquisition and retention strategies.
• Analyse the impact of promotions on sales performance and recommend improvements
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and industry trends to maintain market leadership.
• Gather customer feedback and insights to improve marketing effectiveness and product
offerings.
• Develop and manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective campaign
execution.
• Track and measure the success of marketing initiatives using (KPIs).
• Prepare and present performance reports to senior management, offering insights and
recommendations.
• Lead and mentor a marketing team, fostering creativity and accountability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, E-commerce, Product, and
Operations.
• Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners to execute campaigns.
Qualifications
✓ Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant field.
✓ A minimum of four years’ experience in Marketing. Exposure working in Marketing agencies is
an added advantage.
✓ In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics.
✓ Highly creative with excellent analytical abilities.
✓ Up to date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing.
✓ Strong knowledge of brand strategy, digital marketing, and campaign management.
✓ Proficiency in SEO, SEM, social media management, and performance marketing.
✓ Excellent analytical skills with experience using Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, and other digital tools.
