Job Description/Requirements
1. Develop strategies to boost company’s reputation and make the company more visible
2. Developing strategies and campaigns that will promote business through generating traffic both online and offline
3. Being in charge of the company website and all social media accounts and ensuring that they are well managed and that a strong present is felt across clients and prospective clients
4. Oversee the creation of valuable and engaging content for our website and all social media platforms ensuring that they remain vibrant with an aim of fostering brand loyalty among online users
5. Prepare and monitor marketing budget on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis to help in allocation of funds
6. Evaluating and reporting on the return on investment on each marketing initiative undertaken. You should assess the cost effective of each marketing campaign and allocate resource to strategies that yield highest ROI.
7. Competitor activities monitoring by analyzing their activities, strategies and identifying areas of competitive advantage and advising the management how we can use this information to differentiate and position our brand effectively in the market.
8. Identifying emerging trends and technologies in market and ensuring that the company’s marketing strategies are not only current but also positioned and relevant for future success
9. Developing crisis communication plans to address potential negative issues swiftly and protect our brand’s reputation.
10. Coordinating various brand campaigns across all channels to ensure a unified brand experience through integration of online and offline activities to maximize reach and impact
11. Effective digital marketing strategies
12. Advising and guiding the management on the best marketing strategy to launch a new brand in the market.
13. Being in charge of the marketing department and ensuring that the staff in the department maintain discipline and professionalism in their day-to-day work.
14. Fostering a positive and collaborative team culture between marketing department and other departments in the company.
15. Regularly assessing your team’s performance to help in identifying areas of improvement as well as recognize outstanding performance
16. Any other duty assigned
Key Requirements (qualifications and skills)
- Degree/Diploma in in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in marketing management, with a track record of successfully executing integrated marketing campaigns.
- Digital marketing experience
- Proven track record and strategic thinking
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms
- Experience in the hospitality industry is an added advantage
