Job descriptions & requirements
Remote Raven is a US-headquartered remote staffing company that connects business owners with highly qualified virtual assistants across 100+ industries — accounting, healthcare, legal, real estate, marketing, and beyond. We're expanding our reach beyond North America into a global market of business owners, operators, and enterprise leaders who need world-class remote talent at scale.
We grow our business through solution-focused events: webinars, virtual sessions, in-person events, and partner events where business decision-makers learn how Remote Raven's VA staffing solution fits their growth and operational needs.
We're hiring a creative Marketing Strategist to own the marketing engine behind our global expansion. You'll generate the ideas, design the campaigns, and ship the work that fills rooms (and Zoom rooms) with qualified business decision-makers worldwide — small business owners, mid-market operators, and enterprise leaders.
This is a full-time, 100% remote position reporting to Remote Raven's US-based leadership team. You'll work as an individual contributor with full ownership of marketing strategy, creative, and execution: you'll come up with the concept, write the copy, design the graphic, build the email, schedule the post, and check the registration count yourself. We're not hiring you to brief a team — we're hiring you to be the marketing brain and hands of Remote Raven as we scale globally.
Because we sell to business decision-makers across multiple regions, LinkedIn is a primary channel alongside Facebook and Instagram. You should be equally comfortable writing B2B LinkedIn content for an operator audience and managing Meta Business Suite for our broader brand presence. When paid budget is allocated, you'll run paid social campaigns on LinkedIn Ads and/or Meta Ads to amplify event registrations and brand visibility internationally.
We mean it when we say creative. We want someone who looks at the same campaign brief everyone else has — "drive event registrations" or "grow brand awareness" — and comes back with an angle, a hook, or an asset that actually makes people stop scrolling. Strong execution is the floor. Creative thinking is what we're hiring for above the floor.
We also mean it when we say global. Adapting messaging, creative, and timing for different markets — and for different cultural contexts within an English-speaking business audience — is part of the job. Generic campaigns will not work.
In your first 90 days, you'll establish a weekly content rhythm across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, launch at least one event-driven campaign with measurable registration and attendance results, and build a newsletter cadence that improves open and click-through rates over your starting baseline. You'll be judged on outcomes — event registrations, attendance, audience growth, engagement metrics, and pipeline-relevant signals — and on the creative quality of the work itself.
The right person is creative enough to generate fresh ideas, disciplined enough to ship on a schedule, analytical enough to read the data and adjust, and savvy enough to adapt campaigns across markets. You'll work across multiple markets and segments simultaneously — different regions, different time zones, different company sizes, different verticals — so comfort juggling parallel campaigns is essential. You'll also work closely with our US-based leadership team, so strong written English and async communication discipline are non-negotiable.
Responsibilities
Creative & Campaign Concepting
- Generate original campaign concepts, hooks, and angles for events and ongoing brand marketing
- Translate business goals into creative campaigns that drive measurable action across markets
- Own the creative direction across copy, design, and channel mix
Global Marketing Strategy & Planning
- Develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with Remote Raven's global growth goals across multiple regions and audience segments
- Partner with leadership to identify market opportunities, prioritize regional initiatives, and set quarterly direction
- Translate strategy into concrete, shippable campaign plans tied to event and pipeline goals
- Adapt strategy for different geographic markets while maintaining a unified global brand

- Design and execute multi-channel campaigns to drive registrations and attendance at Remote Raven events (webinars, virtual sessions, in-person events, partner events)
- Build event invitation, reminder, and follow-up email sequences with strong creative and copy
- Coordinate LinkedIn, Meta, email, and partner-channel timing across time zones to convert awareness into registrations and registrations into attendance

LinkedIn & Social Media Marketing
- Own LinkedIn organic content as a primary channel for reaching business decision-makers globally
- Plan, create, and schedule content on Facebook and Instagram using Meta Business Suite
- Build content that resonates with business owners and operators across markets — punchy, useful, and well-designed
- Execute paid social campaigns on LinkedIn Ads and/or Meta Ads when budget is allocated, with regional targeting where appropriate
- Monitor performance and engagement metrics weekly and adjust strategy accordingly
Email Marketing & Newsletters
- Write, design, segment, and send promotional emails, event campaigns, and newsletters
- Manage list health, segmentation by audience type and region, and deliverability
- A/B test subject lines, send times, and creative across markets
Brand Visibility & Reporting
- Maintain consistency in brand messaging, voice, and visual identity across every channel and every market
- Track campaign performance in LinkedIn Analytics, Meta Insights, Google Analytics, and email platform reporting
- Report on key metrics — registrations, attendance, conversion rates, engagement, audience growth — broken down by region where relevant
- Recommend adjustments to improve ROI
Partner & Community Engagement
- Build relationships with co-marketing partners and stakeholders globally to expand event reach
- Identify cross-promotion opportunities that drive qualified attendance from new markets
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in a Marketing Strategist, Marketing Manager, or B2B demand-generation role with end-to-end campaign ownership
- A genuinely creative mind — someone who can generate concepts, hooks, and angles, not just execute briefs
- A portfolio or shareable examples of campaigns you personally conceived, designed, and shipped
- Demonstrated track record of marketing to B2B audiences in at least one major English-speaking market (US, UK, Canada, Australia, or similar) — international or multi-region experience is a strong plus
- Documented experience driving registrations and attendance at events — webinars, virtual sessions, conferences, or in-person sessions
- Hands-on LinkedIn organic content experience for a B2B audience
- Hands-on management of Facebook and Instagram marketing through Meta Business Suite
- Direct experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot, or equivalent), including segmentation, A/B testing, and reporting
- Strong design sense and proficiency in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite — you produce campaign graphics yourself without designer support
- Strong written English with a distinctive voice, suitable for international business audiences
- Ability to work independently and drive implementation with minimal supervision
- Experience tracking and reporting on marketing KPIs using Google Analytics and platform-native analytics
Nice to Have
- Experience marketing to international, multi-region, or multi-cultural audiences
- LinkedIn Ads and/or Meta Ads paid social advertising experience
- Marketing automation or CRM tooling (HubSpot, Mailchimp Automation, ActiveCampaign)
- Prior experience marketing a B2B service to small-to-mid-size business owners across multiple countries
- Video, motion graphics, or animation skills for short-form social content
- Multilingual marketing experience or experience localizing campaigns for non-US English-speaking markets
What We Offer
- 100% remote work, full-time
- Compensation up to $8/hr USD
- Direct ownership of the marketing function with leadership support
- A role where creativity, strategy, and execution are equally valued
- The chance to help Remote Raven grow into a globally recognized B2B brand
To apply, submit your CV plus a short note (or a link to a portfolio) showing one campaign you're proudest of — the idea, what you made, where you ran it, and the result. We're paying close attention to creative thinking, not just metrics.
