Maths Teacher | Remote

Position: Maths Expert

Type: Short-term Contract

Compensation: $450 per task upon approval

Location: Remote

Commitment: 8 hours per day with 4 hours overlap with PST

Duration: 11 Weeks

Start Date: Immediate

Role Responsibilities

• Design and solve challenging Maths problems to evaluate large language models
• Create clear, step-by-step mathematical solutions with detailed reasoning
• Collaborate with LLM researchers on evaluation benchmarks and reasoning tasks
• Help define new evaluation benchmarks spanning undergraduate to PhD-level Mathematics
• Analyze and solve complex mathematical problems with a logical and structured approach
• Explain mathematical concepts clearly using simple language, visuals, and examples

Requirements

• Candidates with a Master s, Ph.D., or currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields are encouraged to apply
• Proficiency in at least three of the following tools:
• Magma, Macaulay2, Singular, GAP, SageMath, Polymake, 4ti2, LattE, DIPHA, PHAT, AUTO-07P, XPPAUT, Perseus, Stan, PyMC, OR-Tools, Z3, PARI/GP, fpLLL
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Creative and lateral thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote environment
