Job Summary

The Medical Officer will play a crucial role in providing medical care, diagnosis, and treatment to patients within the organization. Job Description/Requirements


1. Patient Care:

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive measures.

  • Prescribe and administer appropriate medications and treatments.

2. Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and support staff, to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.

3. Medical Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.

  • Engage in health education and promotion activities to enhance patient understanding of preventive measures and healthy lifestyle choices.

5. Emergency Response:

  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide emergency care as required.
  • Collaborate with the emergency response team to ensure effective crisis management.

6. Quality Improvement:

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety, outcomes, and overall service delivery.
  • Contribute to ongoing efforts to meet or exceed regulatory and accreditation standards.

7. Continuous Learning:

  • Stay updated on the latest developments in medical science, treatment modalities, and healthcare technologies.
  • Participate in professional development activities, including continuing medical education.


  • Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid medical license and registration with the relevant medical board
  • Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Proficient in the use of electronic health record systems.
