About This Role
TFS HealthScience is a leading global mid-size Contract Research Organization (CRO) that partners with biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies throughout their entire clinical development journey. Our expertise includes full service capabilities, resourcing, and Functional Service (FSP) solutions.
The Part Time Medical Safety Physician Oncology is responsible for providing medical safety oversight for oncology clinical development programs, acting as the sponsor medical representative and ensuring timely assessment and management of safety issues in collaboration with internal teams and CRO partners.
As part of our SRS/FSP team, you will be dedicated to one sponsor, a global biotechnology company focused on innovative oncology drug development across early and patient mature clinical phases.
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide medical oversight and clinical input for safety related activities across oncology clinical trials
  • Review and assess serious adverse events, safety signals, and urgent medical safety issues
  • Act as the sponsor medical safety representative in collaboration with CRO medical counterparts
  • Be available for urgent safety matters, including early morning availability aligned with US Eastern Time when required
  • Support safety strategy development during early phase and expanding clinical programs
  • Contribute to safety documentation, safety reviews, and cross functional discussions as needed

Qualifications

  • Medical Doctor degree
  • Proven experience in oncology clinical development, including early phase and patient mature programs
  • Prior experience in medical safety, pharmacovigilance, or safety management roles
  • Ability to work part time with flexibility as program needs scale
  • Strong communication skills and ability to represent the sponsor perspective in cross functional settings
