JOB SUMMARY
The Power Platform & Automation Specialist willdesign, build, and support end-to-end business solutions across Power Apps,Power Automate, SharePoint, and supporting systems.This is a hands-on technical role with direct clientinteraction. You will architect workflows, build production-grade apps,document processes, and ensure smooth delivery from discovery to deployment.You will work closely with the Founder and clients acrossthe U.S., gaining exposure to real-world business problems, cross-functionalprocesses, and multi-system integrations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Power Apps Development• Build Canvas and Power Model-Driven Apps for operations,approvals, field processes, and data entry• Create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces with clear navigation andvalidation• Manage app lifecycle: versioning, publishing, and environment management2. Workflow Automation (Power Automate)• Design and deploy automated workflows for approvals,notifications, integrations, and scheduled tasks• Build integrations with SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL, Outlook, Teams, and3rd-party apps• Monitor and optimize flow failures, performance, and licensing impact3. Data Architecture & Integration• Create and maintain SharePoint Lists, Dataversetables, or SQL schemas• Design reliable data structures and enforce validation rules• Support ELT/ETL-style workflows when connecting multiple systems4. Process Discovery & Client Collaboration• Work directly with clients to understand business needs• Convert messy processes and verbal explanations into structured workflowdiagrams• Propose clear, simple, scalable solutions that eliminate manual work5. Troubleshooting & Optimization• Debug failing flows, slow apps, or broken permissions• Rewrite or refactor existing Power Platform solutions for reliability andmaintainability• Provide ongoing support and enhancements for client build-outs6. Documentation & Handover• Prepare SOPs, training materials, and deployment guides• Document design decisions, data structures, and integration logic• Assist in user training and adoption for new systems
REQUIRED SKILLS
Office tools (MS office, open office, etc.), Problem solving, Communication, Big data and data analytics, Database query languages (SQL, others), Scrum, Database administration, Data visualization, Object oriented programming, Programming methodologies
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree
